Custom hand-created lettering has always been a love of mine – whether it be for logotypes, special events, invitations, menus, or just general design projects. Below are a few examples, with some initially created with ink on paper or vellum, using a variety of pens, brushes and sticks. Adobe Illustrator is my current choice for tracing sketches, redrawing and cleaning up forms, with some effects then added in Photoshop, if required.
